Roller Parts supplies parts and equipment in a wide range of sizes and weights, including heavy components and oversized freight. Delivery arrangements, costs and timeframes vary depending on your order and location.
Delivery availability and freight quotes
Delivery within Australia is subject to carrier availability, the size and weight of the goods, and suitable access at the delivery address. Please contact us to confirm delivery options for remote locations or destinations outside Australia.
Shipping charges depend on the delivery location, packed dimensions, weight and any special handling requirements. Large, heavy or oversized items may require an individual freight quote. We will confirm the quoted freight service, delivery arrangements and charges with you before proceeding with the booking.
Please tell us about any site restrictions or unloading requirements when requesting a quote so these can be allowed for.
Order preparation and dispatch
Dispatch depends on stock availability, order preparation and any sourcing, manufacturing or special handling required. We will advise the expected lead time for your order before you commit to the purchase.
Preparation time is separate from freight transit time. A transit estimate starts when the goods are collected by the carrier, unless we expressly describe it as a total time from ordering to delivery.
Delivery timeframes
Large, heavy and oversized freight can take several weeks to arrive and, in some circumstances, longer. These shipments may require specialist vehicles, scheduled freight routes, permits or coordinated delivery and unloading arrangements. Regional and remote destinations may also require additional time.
We will provide an estimate suited to your order and destination, including any known extended lead times. Please do not assume that standard parcel delivery timeframes apply to large freight.
Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree to a firm date in writing. Estimates will be based on the information reasonably available when provided. If you need your order for a particular date, please discuss this with us before ordering so we can confirm what is achievable.
Delays and delivery updates
Weather, road conditions, carrier capacity and other disruptions can affect delivery. If we become aware of a significant delay, we will contact you with an update and the available options.
Tracking or consignment details will be provided where available. Some specialist freight services may use direct delivery updates rather than online tracking.
If delivery cannot be completed within an agreed timeframe or otherwise within a reasonable time, please contact us. We will work with you on an appropriate solution, which may include a revised delivery arrangement you accept or cancellation and a refund where required by law. An estimated delivery date does not remove your legal rights.
Site access and unloading
Please provide an accurate street address, a contact person's name and phone number, delivery hours and details of any access restrictions. Large freight requires safe access for the agreed delivery vehicle and a suitable unloading area.
Before dispatch, we will confirm who is responsible for unloading and whether a forklift, crane, tail-lift or other equipment is required. Do not assume the driver can unload heavy items or that lifting equipment is included in the freight quote. Tell us before booking if you need unloading assistance.
Where you agree to provide unloading equipment or personnel, these must be suitable for the goods and available at the agreed delivery time. The carrier may postpone unloading if it cannot be completed safely.
Delivery changes and unsuccessful deliveries
Contact us promptly if you need to change the address or delivery arrangements. Changes may affect the freight cost and delivery estimate.
Reasonable additional charges may apply if delivery cannot be completed because of an incorrect address you supplied, unavailable agreed unloading facilities or undisclosed access restrictions. We will explain any proposed redelivery, storage or special handling charges and obtain your agreement before arranging further services. We will not charge you for failures caused by us or the carrier we engaged.
Missing or damaged goods
Please check the delivery when it is safe to do so. If goods appear damaged or items are missing, note this with the driver where possible and contact Roller Parts as soon as reasonably possible. Photographs of the goods and packaging can help us investigate.
Where we arrange delivery, we will follow up with the carrier and work with you to resolve the issue. Signing for a delivery does not remove your rights concerning damage or faults discovered later. Please also refer to our Refund and Returns Policy.
