At Roller Parts, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains how we handle returns, refunds and faulty products.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available to you under Australian Consumer Law. Where consumer guarantees apply, our products must meet those guarantees. These rights may also apply to business purchases.
For a major product failure, you can choose a refund or replacement, or keep the product and claim compensation for its reduced value. You may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
For a minor problem that can be fixed, we may arrange a free repair within a reasonable time. If we cannot or do not resolve it within that time, you may be entitled to a replacement, refund or reimbursement of reasonable repair costs.
Your statutory rights are not limited to a manufacturer's warranty period or a fixed number of days after purchase.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if your product arrives damaged, is faulty, differs from its description or is not the item you ordered. If using the product may be unsafe or cause further damage, stop using it.
We may reasonably assess the product before determining the appropriate remedy. You can deal directly with Roller Parts about your claim.
Change of mind and incorrect selection
We do not automatically offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, ordering the wrong part or no longer needing an item. We may consider these requests case by case.
Please contact us before returning an item for these reasons. Any agreed return conditions, including item condition, packaging and freight costs, will be confirmed in writing. Special-order or custom-made items may be declined for change-of-mind returns.
These conditions do not apply to valid consumer guarantee claims. If a part is unsuitable because of an inaccurate description or fitment advice you reasonably relied on from us, we will assess it under your applicable legal rights.
How to request a return
Contact us with:
-
Your order or invoice number, or other reasonable proof of purchase.
-
The product name and part number.
-
A description of the issue and when you noticed it.
-
Photographs, if available and helpful.
We will explain the assessment process and return arrangements. Original packaging is not required for a consumer guarantee claim, but please package any returned item securely.
Return freight
Where a consumer guarantee claim is confirmed, we will cover reasonable return freight costs. Please retain any freight receipts. For faulty goods that are large, heavy or difficult to remove, we will arrange collection or cover reasonable transport costs as required by law.
For approved change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return freight, and original delivery charges are not refundable unless we agree otherwise.
Refunds
Once your entitlement to a refund is established, we will process it promptly using your original payment method unless you agree to another method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available.
We will not deduct a restocking fee from a refund required under Australian Consumer Law or require you to accept store credit instead.
